Rather cloudy with some patchy light rain, with Isles and western coastal fringes wettest. Fresh westerly winds strong at first around coasts, easing light inland. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Wednesday:
Cloudy start with patchy rain in Caithness and Sutherland. Turning drier, brighter through the morning. Cloud spreads east late afternoon, rain and strong winds far west in the evening. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Rain early Thursday, then brightness and showers, possibly heavy for afternoon. Showery Friday with risk afternoon thunderstorms. Saturday brings showers or longer periods of rain.
